Important Message About COVID-19 (April 6, 2021)
We continue to closely monitor the situation related to COVID-19 by following and continually adapting to the recommended guidelines outlined by local, state, and national public health agencies.
In response to the changing dynamics of COVID-19 transmission across the United States, and to support Chicago’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, the City is issuing a Travel Order applicable to anyone coming into the City of Chicago from designated states with a significant degree of community-wide spread of COVID-19. As of 4/6/2021, anyone traveling from a state on the Orange list is directed to obtain a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours prior to arrival in Chicago or quarantine for a 10-day period. The Order is subject to the limited exemptions outlined in the ‘Exceptions tab’ and you can view the specific Travel Order here.
As a reminder, Chicago has met the metrics set by the State of Illinois to move to Phase Four COVID-19 regulations. You can view the specific Phase 4 resurgence mitigation measures here.
We are doing our part to reduce the impact and help control the spread of COVID-19 by adhering to IDPH and City of Chicago recommended and required guidelines. Please direct all enquiries to email: firstname.lastname@example.org
